Ametros’ Settlement Advisors Manager Johnny Meyer to Discuss the Cost Mitigation and Settlement of Workers’ Compensation Claims at the CLM Annual Conference

Meyer will participate in the “Cost Mitigation & Claims Training in a New Medicare Era: Retooling Your Medicare Practices to Ensure Compliance and Settle Claims” presentation. Scheduled for 10:25 a.m. on March 16, the session highlights ways to use recent changes made by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to mitigate claim costs and efficiently settle claims. Panelists will cover Workers’ Compensation Medicare Set-Asides, the MSA re-review process, conditional payment liens, state-mandated treatment guidelines, reimbursement rights of Medicare Advantage Plans and professional administration of medical settlement funds.
