Ametros is supporting the LGBTQ community, including their friends and families, in June by celebrating Pride month. This month presents the chance to support each other's differences, and overall equal rights. Ametros embraces all gender identities and sexual orientations. Our hope is that by celebrating Pride month that we can bring more awareness and education overall!
The following are a few of the ways Ametros will show support:
- Raising our “virtual pride flags” by turning our signature blue fractals into rainbow for the entire month of June
- Kicking off a “wear your pride” initiative in which all employees are encouraged to wear a color of the rainbow each day for the first week of June
- Spotlighting an influential member of the LGBTQ community chosen and submitted by our employees weekly throughout June
- BAGLY and GLBT Youth Group Network of MA: A youth-led and adult-supported social support organization that is committed to advocating for policies and and services for the GLBT youth community
- Fenway Health: An organization that ensures there is access to quality healthcare in the Boston area for the LGBT community
- Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition: An organization that is educational and community-building, working to end discrimination with gender identity and self-expression
- Boston Pride: A local organization that works to create change by producing events to achieve inclusivity, equality, and awareness for the LGBT community in Greater Boston and beyond
