Ametros' Senior Managing Director, Paul Sighinolfi, will participate on the “Stop the Bleed…Claims Costs Reductions and Mediation Strategies” panel during WCCP’s Claims Management and Leadership Conference, June 9-12.
Paul has served as a mediator in Maine, which made mediations mandatory in 1987. He and fellow presenters, Mariam Yanes with MKRS Law and Paul Westcott of Westcott Mediations, will discuss the process from initial file review to final resolution and everything in-between.
Mediation is typically a two-sided compromise with neither party feeling completely satisfied at the end of the day, but it doesn’t have to be that way. The audience will gain insights into where mediations tend to break down and learn best practices for making negotiations and the settlement a win/win for all parties involved, most importantly the injured individual.
The session will be held Monday, June 10, starting at 11 a.m. during WCCP’s 28th Annual Claims Management and Leadership Conference in Bonita Springs, Florida. More information is available at https://www.wccp.org/m/event_details.asp?id=1143468
